I have to walk to work. Day time trips aren’t too bad, but when I can to come home from evening shifts, those short trips can get pretty unnerving. I can get a real good grip thanks to the rubberized handle and wrist strap can loop around my wrist for extra reassurance, which I could use if I ever have to swing this thing around. If stunning isn’t an option, then brute force will come into play. The baton has a ridged end that makes it pretty painful when clobbered by. It’s made of some real sturdy aluminum, so I don’t have to worry about it shattering to pieces after a few strikes. On a more peaceful note, the flashlight comes in pretty handy and luckily that’s the feature I’ve ever had to really use. It’s like having an extended flashlight so I can shine around corners, nooks and crannies. When the battery runs low, I can just plug the badass into the wall to charge it up. No need for expensive batteries. So far, I’m pretty happy with my purchase.
