I work as a security guard for public events. Most of the time, these events are concerts which can draw some very rowdy characters. I can resolve most issues without much conflict but once someone has a wild hair in their system, things can get pretty dangerous. The pain can last up to almost an hour which should give them time to think about their bad choices especially if they try to wipe the stuff off as it’ll only spread the pain even more. I can keep a good 13-15 feet of distance between me and harm and helps with giving me enough time to call for backup. What’s cool about using a gel spray is the stuff is it sticks right onto the troublemaker and using gel also makes it a little safer for anyone around the attacker as it makes a more direct spray to your target. One last thing to mention is that the gel has a UV dye in its formula to better identify anyone I had to spray. Whether you’re in security or just going about your day, I’d say keep one of these on hand because you never know when you might need to use it.
